On this page you can access the survey data used in my article “Does language foster reconciliation? Evidence from the former Yugoslavia”.
The survey included responses from 446 respondents in Serbia and was collected in March and May 2019. The data contains information on their age, gender, education level and other individual-level characteristics, as well as their intergroup friendships, acquaintanceships and trust towards the other six nationalities of the former Yugoslavia – Croats, Bosniaks, Montenegrins, Slovenes, Macedonians and Kosovo Albanians.
If you would like to use this data, please cite it as “Kumove, Michael. Serbia Intergroup Relations Dataset, V1 (March 2020)”.
